You’ll feel centered and grounded, with practices that help you manage stress, listen deeply, and return to a place of inner steadiness—even when life gets full again.

🧭 Tools to bring your yoga off the mat.
Your practice won’t stay in the yoga barn. You’ll take home breathwork, meditation, and self-inquiry tools that help you feel more intentional, present, and empowered—every day.

🌀 A renewed connection to your inner wisdom.
This is more than a getaway. It’s a return to the part of you that knows what’s next, what you need, and what you’re meant for.

Each morning, you wake to the sound of birdsong and the steady rhythm of the creek nearby. You sip your coffee wrapped in a cozy layer, grounded by the quiet beauty of the forest. On your mat, you feel your breath deepen, your body soften, and the clarity you’ve been craving begin to rise.

You hike beneath a gold tinged canopy of leaves, rest in restorative yoga, and soften into the healing layers of soundbath, yoga nidra, and grounding breathwork. These practices don’t just relax you—they return you to yourself.

By the time you leave, you feel clear, centered, and vibrantly alive. Not because you’ve changed into someone new—but because you’ve remembered who you are.

This is what’s possible at the Rooted & Wild Women’s Yoga Retreat near Asheville, North Carolina.

Are you ready to give yourself what you’ve been needing all along?

Your Daily Rhythm + Retreat Offerings

Each day at Rooted & Wild is a gentle unraveling—of tension, of shoulds, of everything that’s been pulling you away from yourself.
This is your space to exhale, move with intention, and reconnect with the steady rhythm of your body, your breath, and the natural world around you.

You’ll rise slowly, cradling a warm cup of tea or coffee by the creek, letting the early light and sounds of the forest greet you. No alarms. No rush. Just time.

Morning Practices

Mornings begin with energizing vinyasa flows in the warmth of the yoga barn or on the outdoor platform with the mountains just beyond. These sessions are designed to wake up your body, clear your mind, and stoke your inner vitality—a full-body yes to the day ahead.

Nature Immersion

Late mornings and early afternoons bring guided hikes through the changing leaves and quiet trails of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether you’re standing beneath a waterfall or resting beside the creek, nature becomes your co-guide—offering grounding, clarity, and perspective.

Slow Evenings

As the sun dips behind the trees, we ease into restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, and sound healing sessions—offering deep rest for your nervous system and space to integrate the day’s insights. These practices invite you to fully settle, soften, and return to yourself.

Breath + Stillness

Throughout the weekend, you’ll experience gentle breathwork, mindful meditation, and grounding rituals designed to regulate, restore, and realign. No pressure. Just permission to be fully present.

Nourishment + Connection

Expect delicious, nourishing meals, cozy evenings around the fire, and the kind of authentic connection that only happens when women gather in safe, sacred space.

This isn’t about productivity. It’s about remembering what it feels like to move at the pace of your own well-being. You’ll leave feeling strong, steady, and undeniably you.

Meet Your Hosts

Autumn Adams

In 2014, Autumn launched Ambuja Yoga, driven by a dream—to weave her love for yoga, travel, and adventure into a tapestry of intention, courage, and grace for her students. Over the past decade, Autumn has orchestrated over 40 transformative retreats empowering women to prioritize themselves and embrace a life brimming with self-love and fulfillment. Each retreat is a magical journey, where attendees depart with a newfound sense of self, purpose, and the ability to imbue their intentions into every facet of their lives.

Autumn’s classes are a delightful blend of her extensive education in dance, Hatha, and Vinyasa Yoga. She crafts dynamic, flowing sessions that gently nudge students to break old habits and explore new boundaries. Her teaching style is light, approachable, and often sprinkled with engaging stories from Hindu mythology or her own life adventures, making each class a unique experience.

What Autumn loves most about yoga is its transformative power—the way it shifts our mindset from “I can’t” to “How can I?” She inspires her students to become conscious creators, urging them to take risks, listen deeply to their bodies, intuition and hearts, and embrace life’s winding path with grace and humor.

Her retreats have been featured in publications like Insider.com, Shape.com, Zappos.com, Asia Spa, Direct Holiday, and Bend Nest.

Outside of yoga, you can find her chasing down her free spirited little boy, hiking in the mountains, or swimming in the sea.

Are you ready to transform your life? NOW is the time to embark on an adventure of self-discovery and empowerment!

Toni Larson, E-RYT 500

Toni embarked on her yoga journey in 2010, earning her first certification. By 2017, she completed advanced training in Shamanic Therapeutic Yoga. Her classes are a unique blend of alignment, the energy body, and the elements.

Toni is more than a yoga teacher. She’s a Spiritual Mentor, Reiki Practitioner, and Retreat Leader. When she’s not guiding others, this Oregonian loves riding her mountain bike, hiking, gardening, whipping up delicious food, or reading a book under the trees.

Her heart’s calling is to show you how courageous, strong, and beautiful you truly are. Anything is possible when you soften and embrace your authentic self. Toni proudly calls herself an Earth Keeper, Spiritual Mentor, and Yoga Teacher.

She’ll encourage you to follow your heart and feel your way through this journey. There are no mistakes here—just a call to learn, heal, grow, and live fully alive.
